Biographical Information
I have been an avid Teddy Bear Collector since childhood. I have a fairly extensive Collection which includes Steiffs, Gund, Boyds, English Bears and many Artist's Bears.
In the early 1980's I owned a Teddy Bear Shop which I operated for 6 years. I'm new to
The art of Teddy Bear Design. I find the design and creation tremendously rewarding.Each bear is lovingly hand sewn from start to finish.
With the birth of our very first grandchild, Mason Alexander, I decided to branch out and make teddy bears for children. They are made of synthetic teddy fur from Italy. It washes beautifully and air dries quickly. Each bear is stuffed with Polyfil, so it does not bunch up inside the bear. I use plastic joints and plastic safety eyes. As with anything, the bears are not indestructible. So far though, I have received no complaints.
